 Get the Credentials You Need to Help Critical Workers Become Homeowners!
North Carolina REALTORS know how important housing is to the quality of life in our communities. We also know that -- even with today's lower prices -- many workers in critical occupations still do not earn enough to afford the average-priced home in the community they serve. That's why Homes4NC created the North Carolina Workforce Housing Specialist (WHS) certification program. It's designed to provide REALTORS with expert knowledge on the federal, state and local housing programs and resources available to serve workforce housing buyers earning less than the area median income. It also will help you connect with like-minded professionals and the organizations that are increasing housing opportunities in your community. The WHS program is currently being offered in partnership with the REALTOR associations in Asheville, Charlotte, Fayetteville, Greenville, Greensboro, Raleigh and Wilmington.
